The water flows down to a pond below after seeping from holes at the top of the rock. The water seeps out of the ground through three holes in the rock, flows across it and then tumbles down into a pond below. The survey believed the rock lie across a stream, which has eroded it partly away over a long time. Mr Amornwat said the area is beautiful, with natural rock formations in layers around four-metres high which the water flows down. The TAO chief plans to promote the discovery as a new natural attraction, challenging visitors to make it to the “Crying rock lawn”.
